Think of the worst, most violently selfish and dangerous people you’ve ever known or heard about and realize that those are the types in control of The Planet. It is irrefutably so. Logically speaking, how could decent, peace-loving, compassionate people hope to stand a chance in the struggle for power when the struggle pits them against people willing and able to lie, cheat, manipulate, dissemble and kill… and do all of the aforementioned with great pleasure and consummate skill, often? The psychopaths always win (and they always hire a nice thick layer of smiling, attractive actors to put a chummy, sexy face on the Evil, to keep things running smoothly)… until Duh Masses, who have the sheer numbers (the only known defense against institutional psychopathy) wake up. Wake up and renounce all those childish fairy tales about corporations “with a heart” and politicians “driven by love for humanity and an abiding sense of justice” and plutocrats who “want to give back”… toss that bullshit along with all the jaw-droppingly ludicrous tales of the impossible feats of Santa, Jesus and Uncle Sam. Renounce the tacky perfume of self-serving fantasy and smell the bitter skatole. It won’t be pleasant but maybe it will save (or ennoble) our lives, in the long run…? First, of course, turn off that damned TV. Please?
